When Brooklyn Dodgers manager Branch Rickey saw him he quickly put him on his team and he played for the all white Montreal Royals a farm team.
When he was attending UCLA he played four sports. He excelled at baseball and football, but also played basketball and ran track. For a little while he played football for the Los Angeles Bulldogs in the Pacific Coast league (Literary reference center). I know I could be a Drum Major because of my passion for band and my ability to lead. Ever since I first picked up a trumpet in fifth grade, I realized that I have a passion of music. World war 1 was a very catastrophic moment in the world. World war1 was very intense and bad. World war 1 was very unique because it was very much different from other wars. Another reason why World war 1 was unique was because people used advanced industrial technology and weapons. And also because the unprecedented number of countries that took part.
