Puritanism was a way of life that was conjured together by bringing together the reality of one's reason for existing as well as spiritual reality. The lifestyle has been both criticized yet idolized because of its way to bring attention to topics that may be left overlooked. During the New England seventeenth century, creative imagination was the fundamental base for allowing future influential writers: Winthrop, Bradstreet, Rowlandson, Taylor, and Mather to dive into the quest of ruminating one’s true purpose meanwhile embarking on an odyssey in order to inhabit a reformed religion.
