Citibank is a global corporation that assists with a variety of financial services. This company is one of the most successful in keeping up with today's technology from online services to a mobile app.
HISTORY

The City Bank of New York was founded on June 16, 1812. A statesman named Samuel Osgood was the first elected president of the City Bank of New York. The War of 1812 made an impact on the City Bank of New York known now as "Citibank." The bank assisted the federal government with money to help for war pays and financial costs. Both companies have proved themselves over the years, through their credit card market and mobile services. The two issuers held $245 billion in credit card debt and decreased it tremendously. Chase has lower saving accounts and fees while Citi is on the higher side. Chase has a larger net income of $21.83 billion compared to Citibank’s $14.04 billion. The percent market for Chase is about 13.34% compared to Citibank’s 8.72% market share. For three consecutive years, Chase has ranked in leading the digital world while Citibank ranked third in mobile services.
