Christianity and Judaism are very different but have some similarities. One similarity is their history and how they started. One difference is that Jews do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Another difference is that Jews believe that they must follow certain laws. Christianity and Judaism have many differences in their modern day religions but the are very similar in their history and how each religion started.
First, Christianity and Judaism are very similar because of the history. Both religions started the same way and have the same leaders. Jews and Christians believe that Moses is the father of Judaism when God spoke to him and told him that he would have a lot of kids. The Old Testament in each of their Bibles is the same. They believe that Jesus is a great teacher but not how the christians believe. Jews also believe that there will not be a second coming and are still waiting on the messiah. The Jews believe that Jesus was not what the prophecies said that he would be and that's why the do not think that he was the Messiah. They also think that the Messiah can not be crucified which is very important part in the christian faith(Why).
In my Christian faith I believe that Jesus was the Messiah. I also think that Jesus was supposed to be that way that he was.
Last, Jews believe that to go to heaven they have to follow certain rules. Christians believe that there only ten guidelines and Jews have over six hundred rules. The Christian faith believes that their followers are supposed to a have a relationship with God and Jews believe that is you follow rules then they will go to heaven. Jews have to follow rules such as eating unclean meat and praying everyday. They also have to sacrifice a clean animal to forgive their sins Christians believe that they do not have to do that because Jesus saved them from their sins
