Christ had a plan to teach the world the goodness of God. Showing us how to spread the gospel to others by also bringing them the knowledge of salvation. With all the other religions in the world, many of our rituals and symbols are very similar or completely different. Hinduism is one of the oldest religions in the world and shows us that believing in a higher power will give us peace of mind similar to Christianity (History, 2023). To follow Christ's commandments and spread the knowledge to the other religions such as Hinduism, we must start with the similarities of Christianity and Hinduism, the differences, and how we convey the gospels to them without disrespecting their practices. Just like many religions, having a moral source is what people tend to search for. Christianity and Hinduism search for wisdom in the revelations of texts and practices that have been passed down from generation to generation. Another concept that they both follow is the truth. Christians have the truth of God and Hindus have Dharma (which have a variety of). Each person has their own way of following the truth, however, they usually stick to the rules or commandments of their religions. Ultimately, they both believe that there is an eternal spirit that is in control of everything. Now, Christianity and Hinduism have a multitude of differences. Christianity believes that there is one God and Jesus Christ is His Son that came to earth to rescue us from our sin. Hinduism's main focus is on karma and how to break the cycle of birth into reincarnation. Christians believe that Christ came to earth to show us the way to God, while Hinduism does not have a founder but many gods to pray to.
