Do you think there is a difference between Hinduism and Buddhism. Hinduism is one of the oldest known polytheistic religion. Buddhism is a religion created by monks and has over 360 million followers. They both have things in common and also have differences. Hinduism being one of the most oldest religions, has many followers. It's the 3rd largest religion, with 750 million followers that are called Hindus. Hinduism doesn't have one particular founder, it started as a philosophy and went into a religion. One of its most known sacred texts are the Vedas. The Vedas is one of the oldest texts in Hinduism, it contains philosophies, hymns, and guidance on rituals and priests. Hinduism has 33 gods. They believe that when you die you will be reincarnated, or reach moksha which is relief form reincarnation. …show more content…

Its founder is Siddhartha Gautama. Their gods are called Buhhdists. Buhhdists have these two things called karma and dharma. They both come from what they believe in in the afterlife. They believe rebirth. Karma is were what you did in your last life will affect you in your next life. Dharma is the force that keeps society moving, it drives the universe, it's also shows that all human put in their part on keeping the Earth clean. Buddhism also has this thing called the four noble truths. They are 1. Suffering Exists 2. Suffering arises from attachment to desire 3.Suffering ceases when attachment to desire ceases 4. Freedom from suffering is possible by practicing the Eightfold Path. Buddhism this is used for getting to freedom.
