Regardless of age, gender, and race, everyone encounters different problems in his or her daily life. Whether the problems are as simple as getting up in the morning or untangling the headphones, people need to find a solution to solve them. The only thing that matters is what solutions they will seek. In David Foster Wallace’s “Good People,” he narrates a story about two college students, Lane Dean, Jr. and Sheri Fisher, who face a dilemma of choosing between either abortion or keeping their baby. They are torn between these choices because they come from a religious family, in which abortion is illegal and they will become immoral if they decide to have an abortion.
This man may be a bit timid in part due to his old age, but his quiet nature also makes him insightful, noticing very specific details about witnesses that many others on the jury missed. He seems to come off as the most respectable and well mannered man out of the twelve. He 's the first to change his vote to not guilty, mostly to give Juror 8 a chance to make his case and out of respect for his motives in gambling for support. In talking about the older man that gave testimony it 's almost as though he 's talking about himself, revealing that he wants to be useful and to do something valuable, even if it 's just this once as a juror. As you may have noticed out of all the twelve men in the movie, each and everyone of them has unique personalities, that all at one point throughout the trial, played a very effective role in deciding this boy 's fate.
When you first walk into the district court building, you get the feelings of authority and resoluteness. If I was not just an observer in the court hearings, I would have felt very uneasy, and nervous, because of the atmosphere that surrounds the building, and the employees of the building. Even before entering the courtroom you get the strong feeling of discipline and authority. I believe this feeling comes from the knowledge of knowing that your future is in the hands of the judge, and knowing that you made a mistake and now have to deal with the consequences. When we finally entered the courtroom The room was set up so that the judge was in the center of the room with their desk raised higher than the rest of the furniture.

In the real world the label “criminal” is used as a bad label one that takes power away from people, it takes the power away because people automatically think you did something horrible and that the “criminal” is a horrible person. Those are just two examples of how power and be taken or given to people.
Our legal system allows judges to make important decisions on their own, which is a huge responsibility, and if it falls into the wrong hands, there could be severe
In the short story, “A Good Man is Hard to Find”, the author, Flannery O 'Connor, demonstrates how a short story can contain many aspects of feminism without one even noticing. Looking at the short story through a feminist point of view, one can quickly gather that O’Connor uses the old school gender roles from the very beginning of the short story. As reading the title, it automatically suggests the male characters in this short story are untrustworthy, not prevalent, and dangerous. With that being said, the female characters in this story are viewed in the eyes of how a woman should act.
“A Good Man is Hard to Find,” by Flannery O’Connor, is a story about a grandmother who is traveling with her son and his family to Florida. Since the beginning, she makes it clear that she does not want to go to Florida, even mentioning that there is a criminal on the loose. The truth is that the woman is not really worried about the safety of her family. She only wants to go to Tennessee, and telling her son about the criminal is her way of manipulating him. The woman’s selfishness and hypocrisy are what ultimately leads the family to its doom, and these themes, along with the element of the plot, are quite important for the story, for they show the readers about the importance of being selfless and honest with themselves and others.
He acts as a perfect counterpart to juror number 8, two people who are both trying to do good. They just come to different conclusions of what good is. Juror number 4 isn’t biased against the young man. In fact, once the evidence points to inconclusive, he changes his vote. The last juror to vote guilty based solely on logic and evidence.

They served as many positions in their time. They were the military leaders and legal administrators of the tribe. The Judges worked for God and When the Jews lost faith they tried to put Israel’s faith back in God so his divine plan for the chosen people could be fulfilled. The book of Judges taught me that there are consequences for disobeying God but he is always more than willing to forgive no matter
