Problem Solving. KB and PB make choices and solve their problems together. They often look to each other to provide advice when needed. They both respect each other enough that they feel it is important to include one another in their decisions. Individually they feel comfortable making their own choices but out of respect for the other they often work together to solve a problem. In their marriage they don 't often have conflict because their roles have been established and they enjoy how things are going.
Roles. KB is the primary caregiver in the family. She makes certain that their house is tidy and the kids are happy and healthy. KB is the one who makes sure all the daily chores are done around the house. She does the laundry, the dishes …show more content…

Since KB left her job and has since been a stay at home mom, they have been living off of one income. Just recently KB was elected onto school board in her community. This position provides some limited income. PB also takes a role in coaching his children 's sports teams. He has coached both AB’s and PB’s teams in the past. He also has danced in two of MB’s dance recitals so far. He very much enjoys spending time with his children when his job allows.
Influence and Power. Both PB and KB hold equal power within their family structure. Because they each contribute different aspects to their family, neither one is seen as more valuable or more powerful in their relationship. They have such a great balance of roles that it creates a happy environment within the family. Neither KB or PB feel that they are better or worse than the other.
Beliefs. The B family is religious but they do not feel that religion plays a key role in their everyday life. When KB and PB were younger religion was more influential in their life. They do believe in giving back to the community. KB volunteers for her children 's schools very often. Also the kids have done several fundraisers where they raise money for a charity of their choosing. In general the B family believes in being good citizens and helping where a hand is needed. This is especially true within their neighborhood. They often dog sit or house sit when their neighbors need a hand. They have even fostered several dogs throughout the
