I am writing on behalf of the 8th grade class at Monticello Trails Middle School to, persuade you to take into consideration of writing a Good Night Kansas book. Not only would children in Kansas enjoy it but also children everywhere. We want you to realize that out of the 50 states, 46 of them have a book and Kansas is one state that doesn’t. This could be a learning opportunity for many children and could inform them of the different opportunities, activities, and history Kansas has to offer. Our 8th grade class has worked diligently and very hard, we would appreciate if you at least take our ideas into consideration.
I am writing on behalf of the 8th Grade Class at Monticello Trails Middle School to inform you about our idea to make a Goodnight book about our state Kansas. We would like to be as accurate as possible to give our state the sense of pride that we all deserve. Kansas has so much more to offer than just tornados and the yellow brick road. For example, Kansas is home to the 2013 MLS Cup winners known as Sporting Kansas City; that is a fun fact residents. We are also the proud owners of the Kansas City Royals who are the 2015 World Series Champions.
Nestled in the heart of Northern Arizona lies a place that has an undeniable magic. A place with endless opportunities for adventure and a mesmerizing natural beauty. I write today to announce that I am exploring the possibility of running for Governor of Rhode Island. I have spent my life bringing people together to solve big problems. I have some bold new ideas about how we can do that now to overcome the challenges we’re facing in Rhode Island and make our state everything we know it can and should be. Rhode Islanders are being hit hard by the brutal forces of economic inequality and wealth concentration. In our state today, people struggle with wages that are too low and debt that is too high, while the cost of basic needs continue to rise.

Purpose: To inform the audience about my trip to South Dakota and why it is my favorite vacation. To inform the audience of the many different places I went and activities that I did while in South Dakota. Thesis: My trip to South Dakota was the most memorable vacation I have been on because of the many marvels the landscape had to offer. I fondly remember diving into history and learning about the historic sites, marveling at the vastness of the Black Hills and Badlands, and gawking in amazement at the beauty and mystery of the caves.

Freedom means to do anything one want to do, but one can’t do anything against the law. For example, one can wear whatever clothes he or she wants. One can go to any school he or she desires. I’m happy about my freedom to use the internet. I’m also happy that I can wear whatever I want without being questioned or judged.

Homecoming is something that all ages can take part in, although high school students definitely enjoy it the most. The whole week is the highlight of the year, full of traditions and activities that keep all the students busy. One specific tradition that has gone on for as long as the history of homecoming is the football players handing out their jerseys to their girlfriends, homecoming dates, or just good friends. Many girls, especially upperclassmen girls, look forward to wearing jerseys. This year, there will be no wearing of the jerseys to look forward to due to a new idea that has sprung up against high schoolers wishes.
