The location of the business is on the junction of Cook Street in Keighley and is on the high street , the location of the commercial property has good bus links 0.1 miles away from the bus station and 0.4 mile ( 8 minutes walk) from the train station. It has a large customer car park within 200m of the business ( google maps) the location of the shop is a prominent commercial building with great architectural features . From my market research I stood outside the commercial property and counted how many people walked past the building I found 200 people walked past the shop this helped me to assess the likely amount of potential customers who would visit the store from the results I gathered I found that this business location would attract a lot of new potential customers to the business which would widen the customer base. Due to indirect completion of highly successful shops close by the business would benefit from passing trade as it would increase profits of the business also being close to the high street is an advantage as it means more people are willing to visit the store as it is a short commute from other dominating stores which makes it easily accessible for customers who are visiting shops on the high street so more people will be attracted to visiting the store. It also means that customers who find travelling by foot troublesome can access the business this is an advantage as it would lead to a higher customer satisfaction level and the accessibility of the business is increased. From my questionnaire it is clear that this location is in close proximity to a car park as 72 % of the customers I asked expressed that the proximity to car parking was excellent whist the other 35% said that it was good. These results reflect that the businesses existing customers believe that the property is easily accessible by car. This is an advantage as it means that the business can target an increased amount of people who are attracted to visiting the business and can therefore increase sales and profits where as if the business didn’t have car parking facilities many people may be put off visiting the store this may be the case with the existing business
