On 3-19-16, Highway Patrolman Jeremiah Byrd had a traffic stop. The vehicle was occupied by the alleged perpetrators and the alleged victims. The children were in restraint in the maroon Chevrolet Suburban 1500, traveling East on I10, near the mile marker 61. Judith gave the officer a Texas ID card, and it was suspended. Ramiro also have a driver license to the officer.
While on patrol, I was checking Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church on Needmore Road and observed a burgundy Tahoe sitting stationary, close to the woodline of the church. I exited my patrol car and approached the driver side of the Tahoe. I quickly recognized the driver as William Anthony Thomas, who has a felony warrant with our agency. Thomas was then detained until further investigation. Thomas name was ran through dispatch and they advised that he had a felony warrant for DUI-Felony.
12- 19- 2014 somewhere around 2400 and 0600 hours I Det. Scott Demeester was dispatched to 1710 Madrona Street. I was called in to investigate a homicide case. The victim was discovered tucked under a sheet in a vacant home in Atlanta Georgia.
Dominic T. Hicks, DOB 05/01/77 is a known Registered Sex Offender that lives in Unit 6 and was a possible match to the suspect description given by the victim. On 06/24/15, I conducted registered sex offender address verification checks and contacted Hicks at 109 Lake St. S. #6 which is his registered address. At about 0900 hours, Cpl. Crocker and Detective Lansing contacted Wehrman at the hospital.
In September of 1961, a woman from District of Columbia had an intruder break into her apartment. While the invader of the home was there, they had taken her wallet, and also raped the woman. During the investigation of the crime, the police had found some latent fingerprints in the apartment. The police then established and processed the prints. The prints were then connected back to 16 year old Morris A. Kent.
Background The petitioner, Robert Leroy McCoy was arrested in May 2008 in Bossier Parish, Louisiana for three counts of first degree murder. There was an overwhelming amount of evidence pointing to McCoy committing the crime, but throughout the trial, McCoy maintained that he was innocent and gave multiple alibis. However, a person matching McCoy’s description was seen in a Kia fleeing the scene after the murder, and there were bullets matching the gun used in the crime were found in said car. Also, before the crime, one of the victims, Christine Colston Young, was heard in a 911 call just before the murder saying, “She {McCoy’s estranged wife, Yolanda Colston} ain’t here, Robert… I don’t know where she is. The detectives have her.
This supplement is a record of my actions in this investigation. On October 20, 2015, I was assigned this case to follow up. This investigation involves Mr. Kyree Dobyns a seventeen year old city resident. I contacted the Court Services Unit and spoke to Mr. Don Earlington.
The perpetrator left a fingerprint on the doorknob of one of the victim’s bedroom doors and a herringbone pattern tennis shoe print in one of the victim’s front yard near the front door. The police questioned about thirty to forty men in the area and focused on one main suspect, Hayes. The police went to Hayes home and requested a fingerprint, and Hayes
Your Honor, and people of the jury, on December 22nd of last year, Alguinaldo Nesbitt opened his shop to many people and one man who would later kill him. The day after, he was found dead in his own store. The defendant, James King has been charged with participating in this crime of entering the drugstore, in which either he or Richard “Bobo” Evans killed Mmr. Nesbitt. The evidence will also show that Mr. James King and Mr. “Bobo” Evans stole 5 cases of cigarettes as well as all the bills in the cash register.
. In 1862, Col Robert Gould Shaw returned home to recover from wounds after most of his soldiers had fallen to war fatalities. Shortly after his recovery, the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln and the support of Massachusetts Governor Andrew, changed the prejudice of black soldiers not being stable enough to eradicate fear under pressure in war situations. Yet, the soldiers’ willpower to defeat Confederacy made the 54th Massachusetts proud to be soldiers, proud to wear the uniform, as well as proud to fight for their freedom.
The Murder Trial of Biggie Smalls Rathbone, William Unit 7 Assignment CJ 101 Wallace Biggie was one of the most powerful rappers before getting murdered in drive by shooting in March of 1997. At time he was killed the police had many theories of why he got murdered on that day. The police had multiple suspects about who did it but wasn’t sure of who or why they murdered Biggie Smalls. On that day Biggie was on his way to the hotel from the music party. When his SUV came up to the stop light, he could hear someone call his name, so he rolled his back window down to see who that’s when he was shot multiple times in the torso and then the suspects drove away from the murder.
The first murder involved a 17-year-old male and his 16-year-old girlfriend who were shot dead near their car at a secluded location on Lake Herman port. The police could not establish the motive of these initial killings or a suspect to the murders. The second incident involved the shootings of a woman aged 22 and her boyfriend who was aged 19 who were sitting in a car that was parked in a remote location similar to the first incident. A man with a flashlight who fired several shots at them attacked the two killing the man and seriously wounding the woman. After the shooting, a man called the police, gave the location of the crime, and claimed responsibility for the attack and the previous attack.

For the Application of the Criminal Justice System project of the Criminal Justice course, I chose the arrest of John Burke. This case is about the arrest and sentencing of John Burke who had shot and killed Joseph Ronan. Twenty-five year old John Burke agreed to meet with 22 year old Joseph Ronan at Ronans home, in Reading, Massachusetts on Monday, August 15, 2011 around 1pm, with the intent of purchasing Percocet pills. (Boston.com, 2013) However, shortly after entering Ronans home, Burke opened fire (News, 2011), and after shooting Joseph Ronan several times, with the belief that Ronan was involved in a robbery at Burkes apartment in April 2011 (Boston.com, 2013), fled the home.
