Description of Performance Evidence; With the consideration of the key principles of planning, teaching, learning, assessment, reflection and self- evaluation, a lesson plan was produced to teach a topic on Money and Banking. Its aim was for students to be aware of service provided by financial institution. Using the bloom’s taxonomy of educational objectives, it showed how the students are to achieve the lesson’s aim. I have listed the organisation of learning and ICT experiences the students would be exposed to. I demonstrated the students’ previous knowledge and experience on the subject and how I would assess their learning. For every lesson plan that I created, I would reflect on how the previous lesson informed my planning for the next lesson. The key principles of planning, teaching, learning, assessment, reflection and self- evaluation are evidence in this lesson plan. I developed the planning, teaching, learning and assessment skills during the course of two years in the professional master of education which are evidence in this lesson plan.

There are visual, hearing and kinaesthetic types of learners with the use of ICT. In the lesson plan, I have used the formative type of assessment where I would provide feedback to the students of their learning and use the effective questioning. This followed the guidelines provided by NCCA when it published the “Focus on Learning” (2015) report which provide assessment practice in supporting students’ learning.
