Can you imagine being kidnapped? “The Kidnappers” by Willo Davis Roberts and “ The case of the missing socks” by Lewis Montgomery were both great books. The plot in “The Kidnappers" was more interesting than in “ The case of the missing socks”. The plot is better because it was more intriguing, had more twists, and it had more events in it. The first reason the plot was better in “The kidnappers” was because it was more intriguing than in “ The case of the missing socks”. In the book, Willie gets kidnapped right in front of the school. This scene made me want to keep reading. Another scene that made me want to keep reading is why did Ernie take them. The reason I picked this scene is the chapter finished right when it got juicy. In “The case of the missing socks”, it is only about taking socks and “The kidnappers” is about kids getting kidnapped. The first piece of evidence I have is when Joey got kidnapped. This is not what i thought would happen so that is why i think it was a twist. The next piece of evidence is that Ernie was the boss of the kidnappers. You would not expect it because he worked with the Bishops and they trusted him. In “The case of the missing socks” it does not have twists so exciting like “The Kidnappers is. I know this because I read the book and it is more them finding clues that are not exciting.
