The King County emergency system offers many educational opportunities through community programs such as an emergency medical dispatch program, CPR education program, and basic and advanced life support programs (Public Health Insider, 2016). The King County region has a highly educated population when compared to the state and the country; more than half of the population has already graduated from high school and universities (King County, 2016). Overall System The King County’s medical system is considered to be the best systems in the United States because it provides excellent services to patients. The King County mission statement is “to serve, educate and protect our community by shaping and implementing King County's development and environmental regulations" (Mission statement,2016). And according to the King County mission statement of 2016," We are a national leader promoting responsible and sustainable development to foster environmental quality, economic vitality and social benefits.” The system offers high quality care, that values both its customers and colleagues, serving them with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
