On behalf of the Eagan Fire Department, it’s my honor to present to you the 55th anniversary of history. The information contained in this book is an accumulation of data and photos that past members have created for our milestone anniversary dates starting with our 25th anniversary in 1988. This staffing study has been embraced and approved by the Mayor and City Council. One of the phases would be to take charge of all medical/rescue calls in our community, along with our ambulance provider. This will add over 4,000 more calls to our call volume, something we could never do with our paid-on-call staffing
