1. The title of the painting is Kiss of Judas. It is also commonly referred to as Betrayal of Christ or The Arrest of Christ. The size of this art piece is 200 x 185 cm and is currently located at the south wall of Cappella Scrovegni (Arena Chapel) in Padua, Italy. The work of art was painted between 1304 and 1306. The painting was made using a fresco style that involves various color pigments that are mixed with water only then applied onto a lime plaster surface, in this case the wall of the chapel, directly.

One of the most important and key elements in this painting is the over lapping form seen throughout the entire image. The many rows of people, most covered up by another person, give the impression of depth in the scene. The over lapping form also adds to the chaos in the picture because there are many people and so much going on within the scene that there are people covered up behind others. The variety of colors, including red, blue, and yellow, used in the panting are very vibrant. There are many biomorphic lines as well as curves within the mass of clothing. These lines help create various tones of color. The tonality also allows the picture to appear to have more depth and a three dimensional space. Although the faces appear more two dimensional, the diagonal lines and tones in color throughout the painting give the entire space a three dimensional outlook.
4. This work of art illustrates the story of Judas Iscariot betraying Jesus. Judas decided to turn Jesus in by telling Roman soldiers that the man he will kiss is Jesus, allowing the soldiers to be able to easily identify and arrest him. The main characters depicted in this painting are Jesus and Judas located in the center. Surrounding the two are the Roman soldiers ready to capture Jesus.
