Communism and capitalism has been a battle ground of a topic since the 1950s. The controversy between the two, has been based of the argument which is a better economic form to live by. The beginning of communism can be dated back to the second half of the 19th century, but wasn’t installed until 1917. This is when the communist party had revolted against the Tsarist autocracy and in return created the Soviet Union. This first leader of this newly founded union was Vladimir Lenin. If we fast forward in history we take a look at the end of the Great War WW2. At the moment the United States is allied with the present leader of the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin. And with the dictator defeated it seems the world will enjoy a time of peace and prosperity, …show more content…

Both argue that their economic-political view are better and that the other is evil. In this Essay I will be giving information of past conflicts such as the Korean War A.K.A the forgotten war. In 1950 the Korea Peninsula was divided between a Soviet-backed government in the north and an American-backed government in the south. This was because after the war, the Soviet Union invaded Korea which had been under Japanese control since 1910. Thinking they intended to seize the entire peninsula the U.S moved its own forces into the southern half of Korea. In an effort to avoid a long term decision regarding Korea’s future, the U.S and Soviet Union agreed to split the country in half at the 38th parallel. Peace was maintained for a short while. This border became more intense when Kim 2nd Sung established a communistic form of government in the north due to influences from the Soviet Union, called the Republic of Korea (ROK). Meanwhile the American controlled side was influencing alternative views. Eventually the North Korean officials decided to invade by attacking strategic points along the 38th parallel on June 25, 1950. In return this President
