Kunming vs. Syracuse
Syracuse is a city in N.Y. of the America. It has an excellent university called Syracuse University, which attracts many students come to Syracuse to pursue a higher education. In addition, Syracuse also famous for its No.1 snowfall in the United States. The winter is extremely cold there. Over 10,000 miles away Syracuse, there is another city called Kunming. Kunming is located in Yunnan province, China. Having eighty percent of minority populations in China that leads Kunming becomes a city with diverse culture. To compare and contrast these two cities, this essay will focus on both weather, food culture and lifestyle in Syracuse and Kunming.

Same between the U.S. and China. Foods in Syracuse, like many other cities in the U.S., are pizza, hamburger and salads. However, people in the U.S. more focus on their health than people in China. Most people in the U.S. try to avoid high-calorie food even though they make lots of high-calorie food. On the contrary, Chinese like high-calorie food very much. They do not care how many calories the food they eat. What they care is wether the food is delicious or not. In Kunming (Yunnan Province), it has its own dish style called “Dian.” “Dian” contains lots of vegetables and fruits, so people in Kunming eating very health too.
Lifestyle between Syracuse and Kunming are totally different. During the weekends, people in Syracuse like going to game with friends or holding parties. In the America, sports is very popular. American always willing to pay a very high price for a ticket to enjoy a game. However, in Kunming, like most of Chinese, people do not like to go to games. They spend their weekends by hanging out with friends, shopping and singing
