A few months pass by in what seems like the blink of an eye. People come and go, to check on them and their classmates and sometimes they tell them what happens in the world they seem to have left behind. Kuzuryuu only half-listens, he has to admit. Not because he doesn’t care, because he does and he knows that he should, seeing how most of it it’s fault, too. He’s just tired, and has too many things going around in his head. He promises himself that once everything is over he’ll start to get interested. In what happened to his family and clan, too. Most of them were reflecting about that, probably, (He wasn’t, though) The sky was really beautiful. A bit of dark blue was showing, but it mostly consisted in orange and red. Like- Like a fire. He hoped she’d react somehow, and completely misses the spite and the burning hate in her eyes. They are burning like the flames that engulfed his house, but he doesn’t see it. -C’mon, Peko. If you don’t give in, I’ll have to kill you. You don’t want to disappoint me, do you?- He stood up, smiling, and walked on her hand. Seeing her grimacing was what he wanted, but she didn’t even flinch. -Peko, really, I’ll kill you.- He’s frowning as he walks away, and again, he doesn’t see it. He doesn’t see the way she grips her sword tighter, lowering her gaze with a determined expression. -Not if I do it first.- she whispers, unheard by anyone, letting her sadness show on her face. She cries, cries and sobs, repeating she’s sorry as she gets
