In the film Hidden Figures directed by Theodore Melfi, Katherine Goble decided to seek recognition, stand up for herself and push boundaries.Firstly i agree with Katherine Gobles to seek recognition because I believe that it is very important to be equal on others work ethic. Secondly, I agree with Katherine Goble’s decision to stand up for herself because if people were to step on my toes or discredit you, it would be a good reason to confront others.Finally, I agree with Katherine’s decision to push boundaries because it can help expand relationships as well as expand comfort zones, I think its very important to be comfortable around others in your school or workplace. Firstly, I agree with Katherine Goble’s decision to seek recognition because I think it would be a huge inspiration for African American women to see that another black lady has been featured in a NASA document. It was extremely necessary for her to stand up for herself because Al Harrison and Katherine had conflict because of the fact that Katherine would spend a lot of the work day in the bathroom, not knowing that Katherine had to run to the bathroom which was in a whole separate building and the distance was quite significant. Katherine burst out with anger explaining that there is not a “coloured” bathroom located in the NASA building, Katherine also stated that the coloured kettle does not even get filled up. This decision affected Katherine in a positive way because Al Harrison would later go on to dismantle the bathroom sign for a designated race leading all females to share a bathroom. This is important because this decision also affected all females of any colour because they also had a nearer bathroom.Therefore i agree with Katherines decision to stand up for
