As he pranced throughout my room in a drunken stagger, I crept behind him and pushed him through my tower window. I almost felt bad as I heard his body pummel against the ground. The other castle inhabitants, not being able to see his face, presumed I had wrought my own death upon myself. They all seemed so sad. Macbeth, on the other hand, couldn't care less. How happy I am to be free from his stupidity! Through the havoc of the castle being attacked, I dressed in maids clothing and took many of the castle's riches. Though those ladies were nothing more than homeless nomads, I found it strange that their reassurances to Macbeth were seemingly accurate. "None of the women born shall harm Macbeth" is what they said. I realize now that Macduff was cut from his mother. Not only this, but they told Macbeth he would not be injured until “Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane shall come.” The Birnam wood is what Macduff’s army had cut to conceal their numbers.
