Implementing new global business trends to intercultural business communication

Any intercultural competence is nowadays considered to be critical in any organization operating in the global marketplace. The competitive edge of the company is maintained by the leaders and managers whose will to encourage innovation practices and new communication strategies will finally prove to be critical for working across cultures and then gaining substantial profit from the diverse global market and diverse demand there. A three year long research based on interviews with top management of parent company and its subsidary in Czech Republic was carried out . The research hypothesis was that the use of modern technologies in international business communication (i.e. the Internet, presentation , videoconferencing ,emails, etc.) does not necessarily mean enhanced communication between a parent company and its subsidiary.
