it's important to remember that there are many factors that led to Romeo and Juliet's tragic end. That being said, Lord Capulet played a significant role in their deaths. Firstly, Lord Capulet's insistence on Juliet marrying Paris was a major factor in the tragedy. When Juliet refused to marry Paris, Lord Capulet became enraged and threatened to disown her. This put Juliet in a difficult position where she felt like she had no other choice but to turn to Friar Lawrence for help. If Lord Capulet had been more understanding and supportive of Juliet's wishes, the events that followed could have been avoided.
