As the Lord Resistance Army’s leader, Joseph Kony has a goal to manifest his beloved Ten Commandments into the rigorous works of the Ugandan Government through overpowering force and large masses. This army, however, has not always been around. A time in the early 1980’s, Kony’s aunt, Alice Lakwena, started a movement herself called the Holy Spirit Movement. The movement’s motive was apparently delivered by the Holy Spirit directly to Alice, which said that she was to overthrow them due to abusive actions taken against her Acholi people.
