Love has caught the eye of many people for a long time. People also showed us love in many different ways like through music, movies, art, science, and philosophy. Many say love is exciting, fun, challenging, and teamwork. People state love is a fantastic experience. Authors show us that love is not so easy and fun. William Shakespeare's story, Romeo and Juliet, shows us how hard love is. Romeo and Juliet is a story about two lovers with families that hate each other, leading them to have many obstacles and making it hard to see each other. Throughout the story, they had only downs and this all happened in the span of five days. In the beginning tybalt wanted to fight Romeo But Romeo did not want to fight him because they are family. So they met in the main place of the city and instead of romeo fighting mercutio fought. Romeo got in the way of them fighting and by accident tybalt killed mercutio. Then Baltizar instigated and got Romeo mad. Romeo said I wanna kill you idc who you are either you or I go. Then they fought and Romeo killed tybalt. After the prince came and asked what happened then he stated Romeo is getting banished. “Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain? Away to heaven respective lenity, And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now! Now, Tybalt, take the “villain” (ShakeSpear 3.1.121) When Romeo says “Alive in trump, and mercutio slain?” it dennotates to still alive and killed my friend. I would not let that happen but is connotes as he is angry that's why he talked to him. Then he states ” away to heaven respective lenity” that denotes to not care anymore I wanna fight you but connotes I am so angry idc who you are. After he states “now tybalt take the villain” which donnotates to you a villain now prepared to die but connotes to you are dead to you evil person. After Romeo killed tybalt and got banished he came to the friar and wanted to kill himself. He compares death to the banishment. He also said that he is suicidal because he can’t be with juliet but then the friar came up with an idea for them so say their final goodbyes. After he said I will come with a plan Romeo heard the plan and said ok I will hide here for now.``say “death”; For exile hath more terror in his look, Much more than death. Do not say banishment.” (Shakespear 3.3.12) When romeo stated “exile hath more terror in his look” this denotes to the banishment is like death he would rather die but is connotes to without juliet I shall die which shows us how determined he is when it comes to being with Juliet. When he states “ do not say banishment” this doesn't mean I don’t like that word because it tells me I can't be with Juliet, however this connootates to caring and sadness because he will be separated from Juliet. By Romeo coming back to see Juliet dead,William Shakespeare suggests that his love for Juliet made him hurt others which led him coming too early and seeing her dead and then killing himself.
