Besides the school aspect, I also want to participate in numerous extracurricular activities offered.
“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together” (A quote by Marilyn Monroe). One night I was hanging out with my friend. We were talking about life and then she asked me about school, how long I have left there, what’s my major, and what I would like to do with it.

This essay is about my past ELA experiences. The highs and lows, likes and dislikes. Let’s start with my likes; I really like the reading and reading comprehension along with spelling and test. What I don’t like about ELA is poetry, book reports and writing. I don’t like writing because whenever we have to write essays or multiple paragraphs about a subject I can’t think of anything to write.
For the last couple of years my biggest goal has become to study, live, work and succeed in the New York City. I’m particularly interested in NYU, because I am careerist with a lot of determination and perseverance, willing to work as hard as possible to reach my main goal, of succeeding in the entertainment industry. While visiting NYC last year, I got the impression that no university represents NYC, the city of opportunities to me, better than NYU does. NYU’s diversity and the opportunities that it provides to the hardworking students are priceless and is something that undeniably attracts me a lot. I have expressed interest in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development as my primary program of interest and Media,
I am looking for more than just academics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During my four years at Northwood High School, I became involved in numerous academic and extracurricular activities. As a result, I have been recognized and honored for achievements both inside and outside of school. I realize that titles and academic achievements are limited, but some of the impact I have on my community and other people’s lives is what really matters. Therefore, I plan to continue my active involvement in extracurricular activities while I am a college student.
The first time I recognized my passion for sustainable development was when my father and I took a trip to the San Diego waste landfill in Miramar. As a garbage truck driver, my father wanted to expose me to the waste industry at a young age. Since he never had the opportunity to finish grade school, the only way he could mentor me was by teaching me the process in which we dispose trash. Therefore, despite his broken English and limited understanding on sustainability, taking me to visit the landfill fused my passion for the environment.

I have got to a stage in my career where I have started to search out instruction that will make me more efficient in creating plans and providing services for vulnerable people.
