‘Five Stories’ composed by Michael Nelson Tjakamarra (Jagamara), is an acrylic on canvas painting. Measuring to 122 x 182 cm, created in 1984. The art piece is considered an aboriginal Dreamtime painting, telling us a story. Aboriginal symbolism is present throughout the painting with design elements encompassing line, shape, and colour. Tjakamarra was born in 1949 at Pikilyi, Vaughan Springs west of Yuendumu, and is an Indigenous Australian painter.
It also explains why his fiancé left him and why she never returned. This explanation illustrates why Scrooge was so mean and hateful to others, and it allows the story to come to life. We all need to remember to love others, even when we are in an awful circumstance. The play had a little more symbolism than the movie did. In the play there was a little girl singing a song to her doll.
Learning and Impressions. Throughout my research and interviews for this paper I have learned so much. I never understood the history of PTSD and how it became a part of the DSM V. It scares me a bit that it wasn’t a diagnosis is written off as a norm until the 80’s. When reading about PTSD in The Last True Story I’ll Ever Tell by John Crawford, I learned that sometimes you couldn’t trust everything being told to you from someone who just left a war zone.
Christmas is times for poorer and richer enjoy together except for one man that being ignore and mean to other people and his family. He’s name Scrooge. He is such a mean person that always cares about money than any other things. On Christmas day his friend Jacob came to visit him as a ghost and told scrooge that there will 3 more ghosts came to visit him. First, the past ghost brought him to his past time that full of joy.
The main character is Scrooge, he is the type of person who doesn't really care about the world around him. Unlike his uncle Fred which is Scrooge's nephew loves Christmas. In the begging of the story Fred wished Scrooge “Merry Christmas” and invites him to dinner. The portly gentlemen come for donations.
Today I will be talking about the story, A Christmas Carol, by Israel Horovitz. This story is about a character named Ebenezer Scrooge, an old man who is miserable, rude, and ungiving. Scrooge hates people in general, especially people who celebrate Christmas, he lives by himself and misses his old business partner, Jacob Marley. Scrooge is introduced to us in his office, where he is seen being quite rude to his employee Cratchit. Scrooge’s nephew arrives at his office and tries to wish Scrooge a Merry Christmas but Scrooge simply dispels him by saying good afternoon.
A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, tells the story of a miser who is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, Christmas Future and learns valuable lessons from each of them. Ebenezer Scrooge is initially portrayed as a grumpy man who only thinks of money and himself. Scrooge is full of hate for those beneath him and takes pride in his wealth. After being visited by the three Ghosts, Ebenezer turns his life around and becomes full of charity, humility, and detachment of money and possessions. Ebenezer Scrooge learns valuable lessons from the Ghosts, changes his ways, and becomes a more virtuous person.
This play was about how Ebenezer Scrooge lived a full life of regrets and sorrow, because of his foolish and unkind love for money. Toward the end of his life he revisits painful memories and lost opportunities of love and kindness! By looking over some of his mean times he is regretting them, and becoming a changed man! In scene three there was a young boy standing at Scrooge’s door singing beautiful Christmas carols.
I am doing this essay because there is coming Christmas and the story or the movie is very beautiful. The story takes place in London there are 3 spirits and very bad person and he was very bad but then he is good but at the of this story this is a brief explanation of the story. Scrooge is paying mortician to buy Marley.

Upon learning of her husband’s death, Mrs. Mallard experiences a revelation about her future without a husband. Her life, due to heart problems, suddenly ends after she unexpectedly finds out her husband is actually alive.
Growing up as a woman has been quite difficult in this generation, however, growing up around thirty years ago must have been more difficult. Back in the 1900’s, women had different social norms to deal with in society. Women had to stay at home, be housewives, do the laundry, and cook while men went out and worked to obtain money for their family. In Story of an Hour by Kate Chopin, she tells the struggles that women went through back in the 1990 's and the social norms that women had to go through. Chopin addresses many instances of symbolism to portray the feeling Mrs. Mallard has about her own thoughts and experiences with or without a man in her life.
Hour of Freedom “The Story of an Hour” is a short story written by Kate Chopin. It details a wife named Mrs. Louise Mallard, who struggles with a heart condition. After learning of her husband, Brentley Mallard’s death in a railroad accident, Mrs. Mallard deals with grief in many stages. Chopin incorporates many literary devices throughout “The Story of an Hour,” but imagery is the most evident.
The story “Yours” by Mary Robinson is a short story about a married couple spending their Halloween evening together before the death of his young wife. His wife was suffering from cancer. The story starts with Allison, the wife, coming in from getting pumpkins for the evening events with her husband. She walks through their home where she finds the mail. She finds a letter from her husband’s relatives who saying awful things.
