1. Career Development Summary:
I am currently specializing in business management with a Human Resource focus at Bowling Green State University. My passion for this field originates from my ability to lead, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. There is a projected 9% growth in this field over the next 9 years. I am on the path to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in 2019. My strengths are my manager work experience, but a weakness is my lack of work experience in HR management. An opportunity to overcome my weakness is to use the resources offered through BGSU to prepare and achieve the skills and experiences necessary to get a job in Human Resources after college. This can include internships, attending the job fair, and networking. These opportunities are a way to stand out and build relationships with companies to beat the threat of other people in my career. Another opportunity to stand out or advance in my career is to get PHR certificate. The costs to achieve my desired career are costs for a bachelor’s degree, certification, and wardrobe.
