Malcolm x was born on May 19,1925 in Omaha,Nebraska
Malcolm was the fourth of eight children his mother was a homemaker while his dad was a supporter of black nationalist leader Marcus Garvey. His family was subjected to harassment from white supremacist like the klu klux klan causing them to move to Milwaukee,Wisconsin in 1926 and then to Lansing,Michigan in 1928 but later town people got together and burn down their house down. Two years later his father was found dead
In 1939 his english teacher asked him what do he want to be when he grow up he told her a lawyer. She told malcolm x to be realistic she said why don’t you do carpentry been told this he said no point of a black child pursuing education and dropped out the following year
