Management is a very special skill that help people all around the world succeed individually. In the textbook, management is defined as “the attainment of organizational goals in an effective and efficient manner through planning, organizing, leading, and controlling organizational resources.” In this paper, I will be writing from what I have learned from interviewing a manager outside in the real world what she considers to be the five most significant managerial practices or areas of importance deemed essential for managerial success. Giving my thoughts, what I have experienced, my knowledge, and what I learned from this interview will be put into this paper. Therefore Yer, a manager that I have interview with was one of my very own manager where I used to work in the company with, at Clear Blue Engineering. Organizing is one that help keeps the company moving smoothly. “Organizing makes things simple, easy to find tools, helps me as a manager to stay on track of my work.” Yer said that organizing is a must in everything you do. Plus, in a business company, it helps a lot with all the mess. Also, it allows individuals and groups to perform task efficiently. I think organizing is a good way to help with everything you do outside the world. As a student, I love to be organize because there are so many class work from every different class I take that I must manage. If I get too lazy to organize my school work, then I will not be able to find the worksheet I need the next day. For a manager, organizing could be as messy as my school work.
