May 1945, Germany has surrender and now the war has been taken to the Pacific Ocean. Japan won’t surrender and they are taking as much lifes as possible of Allied soldiers with them. After critical casualties for the United States, the Manhattan Project will now come in handy to end this war faster. We all wanted the war to be the quickest the possible with the least American casualties, so instead of choosing to make this a time of peace or take of a new era, United States should just choose to push ahead to final victory and end this war. There is three options from where to choose from, all of them are excellent but only one of them really fulfills our demands. First of all, the to make this a time of peace option says to talk out of this war without using the Manhattan Project and after Japan surrenders we “led the Japanese to give up without betraying their emperor.” This decision would cause to prevent millions of Japanese lives and also American lives. In order for this option to work out, surrender terms have to be quick or we’ll be giving more time to the Soviet Union to invaded more land from China.
