The Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, The Following, Criminal Minds are all incredibly popular shows, watched by millions, and all depict gruesomely violent plots and scenes. The American people are watching more violent shows in greater numbers than ever before.

Of course, many of you do watch the Game of Thrones, it is one of the most watched and highly rated shows in the entire history of television. And perhaps this it is because it is one of the most violent television series ever created; not including its newest season, it depicts 5348 on screen deaths in only five seasons.
