In the middle ages, the women were not allowed to preach in the Great Britain or Europe; however, most believers of Christianity suffered the devotion in the name of Christ and God. Most followers of Christ and even his mother Saint Mary had undergone most of the spiritual and physical pains, especially after the death of Christ. The author Margery Kempe attempted to explain her devotion to Christ and God mainly because she was condemned and prosecuted by men clerics. The story of Margery Kempe begins with her explanation of her marriage to the townsman. The birth of her first child led her to separation from God and to unification with the devil mainly because during her confession to priest she was rebuked for her deeds and was not allowed to spill all her misdeeds. Her personal visions of Christ were gone together with tears and crying as she presumably felt what Christ experienced in his path to the God.
