The story took place in Orlando, Florida. The story is about two teenagers who are in their senior year of high school named Margo Roth Spiegelman and Quentin Jacobsen. During their childhood Margo and Quentin best known as Q were two best friends who lived next to each other and lived many experiences together. As they grew older, Margo because one of the most popular girls in school and Q belonged to the nerdy students. Q had been in love with Margo since they were kids. With the years they separated and became strangers entirely. One day out of nowhere Margo knocked Q's window and asked him for help. After that night of adventure Q expected things to be different with Margo but days pass and Margo never shows up to school. Her parents declared their daughter as missing. A couple of days later Quentin found a clue left by Margo. He realized that Margo left him clues to find her and Q is determined to look for her and find her. One of the clues lead him to an old abandoned store. Q slowly began to think that the clues were a suicide note and that they were leading him to her dead body. No one wanted to help Q look for Margo because they thought it was not his obligation to look for her. Everyone told Q to just let it go and stop looking for her but he never gave up. Quentin wanted to find Margo because he believed that that was what she wanted him to do. He began to think like Margo to get better clues to get him closer to her. Soon Q realized that Margo was not like adventures he thought she was, but instead, she was a depressed girl. Finally Q believes he found the last clue that lead him to New York. She recommended me this book, I bought the book, but I never read it until now. I did not think I was going to like the book as much as liked it because it is a mysteries book. I regret not reading it before because the book is incredibly great. I would recommend this book to eighth graders and over. Based on the criteria this book is an excellent realistic fiction book because many people can relate to the story. Maybe they have been through the same or similar situation. The book can also demonstrate to the people that have been through similar situations that there are people who care for them and will never leave them alone. It also shows the reader that people are more alike than they are different. It also shows the reader that if they work hard, they are more likely to achieve their goals and dreams. I believe that this book is more appealing to girls, but I think that boys would read it too. The book does not have any images, but it has excellent imagery. The author does a great job describing the plot, theme, and settings of the story. The author did a fantastic job describing the character. I liked how the cover page, title, and the story connect. I also liked that the chapters were not long and that made it easier to read the book because it has much
