Hunter Fitzgerald, Ivan Smith Furniture Interview, Final Report After an interview with Scottie Parker, the sales manager of Ivan Smith Furniture of Winnfield, I have learned much about sales practices that are used by companies such as Ivan Smith Furniture to gain the most customers and maximize profit. In the interview I first learned a little about Ivan Smith Furniture. Ivan Smith Furniture currently is spread across three states, Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana with sixty-two total stores and around six hundred total employees. Also, there are currently six employees working inside the Winnfield store two of which are salespeople.
A place can contribute to productivity and creativity, it can get in the way and limit efforts. A well-designed place can provide a nudge that guides users to good results and offer cues to support better performance. Lately, the open office plans have been very popular as they are supposed to improve efficiency by allowing for more interaction between office staff.
