Legacy Technologies Policy Draft PART I Legacy Technologies establish 2014 is a website that utilizes search engine queues to help consumers navigate through multiple web links and find the best possible source for all historical data on which topic they choose. This site was also created to bridge the gap between historians and people who want to learn more about history. With legacy technologies we hire the most skilled and knowledgeable historians for verification purposes and we also hire the most tech savvy engineers to help code all the data and to provide a rapid but accurate resource link. Legacy Technologies has created this Acceptable Use Policy to comply with the organization cultural climate and in conjunction with the laws ethical standards and guidelines and we encourage openness, integrity, and trust amongst all of our employees. As an organization we will provide all the appropriate equipment to satisfy our companies mission, and it will be the employees responsibility to maintain integrity and uphold all the privacy standards for the equipment issued to them. “This policy requires the user of information assets to comply with company policies and protects the company against damaging legal issues”, (GPC, 2014). Please note that to uphold the security of Legacy Technologies everyone must stay in compliance and expect to submit to random search and seizures if foul play of resources is suspected. Only authorized personnel will conduct these searches if they deem it is appropriate. Social Media Use Policy The use of social media is prohibited on all of the companies issued equipment and network systems. Employees can use social media on their private devices but it is not to interfere with their working habits. System Account All Legacy Technologies employees must maintain and secure their system passwords and equipment, they are not allowed to share their passwords with anyone besides the security administration.
