If the proposal to make food at UNLV healthier is accepted then students will be able to have more access to food that not only taste good but is actually good for them. Thus, students will be able to lead a healthier life choosing this alternative while being on campus. The marketing plan will be successful since it contains several types of marketing techniques. Not only will we be putting up flyers around school that will grab the attention of students once they walk by, but also a booth where students can come by and see what type of food the value meal will offer. The appeal that we have decided to use is physiological needs, focusing mainly on the physiological need for food. Since the flyer contains a somewhat elderly woman that could be seen as a parent-like figure is giving thumbs up, giving the approval that eating healthy is the right thing to do. The elderly woman is giving students guidance in what type of food they should eat.From articles published on The Rebel Yell, there seems to be a demand of wanting food at UNLV to be healthier. Not only will the benefit be that the student will get healthier by eating our value meals, but also that the food is fresh and prepared daily. To have our marketing plan be put into action, we would need to makes copies of the flyer, set up a booth at school, samples of the type of food that would be served if the value meal would be accepted (samples would not be served out to students). For the flyers, it would be ideal to have them put not only in buildings like the Student Union, Library, and our four-story gym but also in as many classrooms as possible. The flyers would have to be in color so that they can attract the eye of passersby and also big enough so that they can see what we are trying to
