“Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.”(King) Martin Luther King Jr. was a great inspiration to many people. Montgomery bus boycott, “I Have a Dream” speech, and a Nobel prize winning are all things he has done and is famous for. About his early years, his Later Years, and how Martin Luther King Jr. is an inspiration to us all. Martin Luther King Jr. was born January 15,1929, in Atlanta Georgia. His original name was Michael King Jr. but later adopted the name Martin Luther King Jr. as his Father adopted the name after a German Protestant religious leader named Martin Luther. He was the middle child of three children. His father was named Michael King Sr. and his mother was named Alberta Williams King. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and entered a public school at the age of five. On May, 1936 he was baptized, however, that affected him little. The assassin, James Earl Ray, was caught and he pleaded guilty to assassinating Martin Luther King Jr. James Ray was sentenced to 99 years in prison and died on April 23,
