Martin Luther King’s Vision Many people may question how much Martin Luther King has impacted today’s society. He did inspirational things back then that moved everyone and made them view things differently. “Martin Luther King had a vision of a society in which race was not an issue in how people were treated or in how they were allowed to live their lives.” (Lovetoknow Corp np). Although his vision of everyone being treated equal is not a reality yet, it has significantly affected our world in a positive way. “He was known for providing leadership in the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955, his famous "I Have a Dream" speech, and being instrumental in establishing the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in 1957, which was a civil rights organization that supported the philosophy of nonviolence.”(Lovetoknow Corp np). All of the things he has done proves that he has impacted our society more than every other African American.
