What is communism and how has it impacted? Well Communism is a type of government that the Russian preferred because they thought this would help the conflict going on in the country. Unlike the Russians, the Americans did not like communism which they knew wouldn’t work. This lead to a big conflict which caused people to have many differences based on their opinions. Additionally with the people who preferred communism there was Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels who happened to write a passage on Communism called “The Communist Manifesto”. Communism basically states that everyone should be treated equally when it comes to wealth and money regardless of their job. A quote from a passage actually said “It envisaged common ownership of all land and capital and withering away of the coercive power of the state. Marx saw a big difference in wealth between people and knew it had to change. Both men wrote the Communist Manifesto and published it. A quote from a reading said “Karl Marx (1818-1883) and Friedrich Engels (1820-1895) authored The Communist Manifesto at the request of the Communist League, a revolutionary society in Europe to which both men held membership”. Both men thought that by changing it to communism the large amount of communism would go away. Another reading said “The primary purpose of The Communist Manifesto was to outline the theory of class struggle and incite the Proletarian to revolt.” Marx saw how the people treated each other and knew something was causing it and blamed capitalism for it so he wrote Communist Manifesto to tell the people how the type of government should change to
