Following Jane Addams advice, he obtain the outdoor job but died a week later because of pneumonia. Another lesson Jane Addams learned was that poor people are very kind towards one and another. Anne Bradstreet and Mary Rowlandson, two women who had strong religious beliefs. Their strong religious beliefs made them to survive the struggles that they endured in their lives. Anne Bradstreet struggled with her faith and her acceptance as a writer in Puritan society. Mary Rowlandson struggled in captivity where she was taken hostage with her ailing daughter by the Indians. Both these women overcame their difficulties through their beliefs to God.
Many things can be learned by Aimee and Bethany. One thing that definitely can be learned is persistence. Both used persistence because it could have been easy to just give up, but they did not. They knew what their goal in life was, and they did not want to leave their goal unbroken. They also wanted to make their dream turn into a reality and both accomplished it.
I have a friend her name is Jane Addams. She is a courageous woman in my opinion especially after all she has gone through. 2 deaths in the family did not stop Jane from becoming the woman she was. After having her mother and father die, Jane got 2 degree’s; One from the Rockford Collage and the other from Women’s Medical College in Philadelphia; Jane went on to find her a position in life. After meeting her friend, Ellen Gates Starr (which happens to be me) Jane went about searching for a position in life.
Through many broken marriages and un lasting relationships , she still tried to love like she had never been hurt. Her attitude towards what she went through and where she was, made her a strong women. My childhood story was similar to Marilyn’s. I was constantly in and out of foster homes, abandoned and left , never in a stable home. Going through so much at such a young age made me .
He also taught me to stay motivated no matter how many times I wanted to give up because of my mistakes. I remember the day like it was yesterday even though it was eighteen years ago.
