There are currently several American based fast food chains open and operating in Paris. Restaurants similar to Chick-fil-A have already flourished in the Parisian market, for example, McDonald’s. McDonald’s’ second most successful market (after the United States) is France! Clearly there
In Des Moines, Iowa in 1975, Diane Schofield was murdered, to date, no one has been held accountable for this crime. The detective on the case at that time has since retired, leaving this case unsolved, however, he recently told Diane's sister,Twyla Johnson, the names of the persons his investigation showed to be guilty. This detective went to the prosecutor twice, he thought he had made his case, but was informed there wasn't enough evidence to convict. Twyla has worked diligently, gathering new information, including names that need reviewing, unfortunately no one will take the time. Twyla has made several phone calls and visits to the police department, she has also talked to the present detective, Mr. Matt Towers, all in an
Fast food restaurants are also pulling people in to go eat there for example Wendy’s and McDonald’s offer salads with fruits and nuts in it but people think that the salad is fresh. So instead of going to the market to get the food people choose fast food. People have to work but instead of packing their lunch they find getting fast food is more convenient for them to buy food there. If people don’t like to cook they will choose to go to a fast food restaurant because in their minds there is no other alternative for fast
The state and region that individuals live in greatly determine their opinions on how gun control and amendment application should be interpreted. A study was done 4 months after the sandy hook mass shooting where children were killed, the study determined the belief of gun control after this tragedy. The researcher Kevin H. Wozniak found that, “ [only] a slim majority of Americans favors a semiautomatic weapon ban and proposals to make gun control laws stricter,” (Wozniak 2). Even directly after a mass shooting there is only a slim majority on a weapons ban. This makes it clear that the beliefs of guns in American culture are too deeply rooted and the county has become too dependant on them.
Mental illness significantly affects many around the world. In fact, about four-hundred and fifty million people worldwide suffer from one or more of the different known mental illnesses. School shootings have recently become a much more common experience. They are the worst kind of mass shooting because they have a huge effect on the entire community, children's bodies, and people’s relationship skills. Because they are traumatic experiences, and they happen in a place that holds many young people, lives are permanently altered by the event of a school shooting. As much as school shootings affect the individuals involved, it also affects the whole community surrounding the shooting. The effects of school shootings spread to the whole community, “effects that extend to communities and society as a whole, including increased fear and anxiety, social isolation, and a sense of helplessness and despair.”
The school, made out of cinder blocks, has strong metal shades that protected the windows in case of a storm thus making it a superior place to conceal oneself from a potential zombie apocalypse. The classrooms, secluded, can closed off from an attack effortlessly, however one could also easily get outside and away from zombies if ever necessary. In the event of an attack, it is critical that a person has water collection kits and fire supplies. Utilizing a pot and a fire outside the window, they can make water safe to drink.
New open carry law will not make Texas college campuses safer Texas government recently passed a new law, Senate Bill 11, which would allow college campus faculty and students to carry a concealed handgun to license holders. Subsequently, this new law will increase the rates of gun related shootings and suicides (Watkins, Matthew, 2015). School shootings are being publicized more due to social media, but they are still very atypical in the United States. Suicide rates will also increase as young adults have more access to firearms. (Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, 2013).

Rough Draft Imagine a store, a struggling family business, that counts and depends on every dollar received, that is aware of the likelihood of failure if their daily income is not met. Now, imagine what would happen if for one day, this store and all others like it nationwide received no business. This would result in a forced raise in product price or cutbacks on other expenditures, like employee salary. All of which would eventually result in less business and thus less income. This is not a hypothetical, as such a movement exists.
