In the technologically advancing world country that we live in, everything has to fast and reliable. We want it right then and now, and if not we moved on elsewhere. If the fast-food place has a noticeable line in the drive thru most people just go to another more “convenient” place. The growing inconvenience of commercial breaks has led to prosperity by the online media streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. If where we get our food and TV from has to be fast and reliable then the demand for your car to be is an afterthought. The demand for vehicles that keep up with our ever evolving technology has increased the need for a mechanic who is capable staying ahead of the curve. Each exam requires in-depth knowledge on topics that are necessary in performing in the field. This can only be gained by completing train school. Ever then years of hand on work in garages are needed to prepare a mechanic for various types of situations in their workplaces. This work experience also helps a mechanic form their own workflow, which can only be achieved from years’ reparation. This fluidity in work is achieved by what Matthew B. It will take years of schooling to even begin down the path of becoming a mechanic. The love for the knowledge of this craft will need because a good mechanic will need to know almost every inch of various vehicles in order to diagnose and remedy problems. This love is the type that Joseph Harrison speaks in his poem Harrison’s Clock, he speaks “unwinding long labors of love”.( Harrison,108) Having the burning passion of looking for a problem(s), then finding said problem, and then coming up with ways to fix it, is remedied. One must not mind being covered with oil, grease, and gas from time to time for a lifetime. Safely must take president in the shop for oneself and coworkers at all times.
