When it comes to American opinion, public opinion And getting votes at election time it comes down to the two different parties that help shape this opinion. At times of large elections Weather by presidential senatorial or congressional the media and their coverage of the candidates As a major influence on public opinion when relating to the candidate themselves. Media also has an effect on what side of the spectrum Iran the cover people from the other spectrum a lot differently than their own candidates. President Trump did this by acting as if he was a commoner even though he’s a billionaire telling the public “he got a small loan of $1 million to Start his business.” He gave off the idea that everything he was going to do an office was going to be huge and he was going to make America great. This gives people the idea that if you can help them with tax cuts and other things like dad maybe they too can become either millionaires or billionaires. He played off the connection that if he did it anyone can do it. Places like FOX News thought at first it was a joke but the joke started picking up steam and pulling way ahead of everyone else so they just started adding on and trying to hype him up, even more, to make public opinion shift more to him as he was already coming up in the rankings. But political parties will take the public opinion that’s already out there to try and remove that into their way of getting things done to accumulate the most amount of people in certain groups to get the number of OC needed to win and or continue to stay in power. When it comes to Democrats and Republicans for most topics they’re always in the opposite of each other and the side that can sway the public to one side that wins. Only at certain times both Republicans and Democrats agree on things but this is usually only when the public as a unanimous opinion about something that is seen as horrible and/or travesty. When times like these arise the media steps in And will then try and sway the questions towards why it happened.
