Mexican Immigration To America

Most people that migrated to the United States from Mexico came to this country so they could have a better life for them and their family. In most occasions people came to the United States of America because of financial problems or to escape from violence. People first started migrating from Mexico to the United States in the early 2oth century. They started migrating at first in very large amounts and the reason why for this great migration as it was known was due to the large amount of labor demands in the United States. The U.S. had a really good economy so as a result that brought a large increase in Mexican immigration rates. They told me that it was really hard to communicate with people that spoke English because they didn’t know not even a little of English. They never learned English in Mexico because my dad went only as far as second grade and then he stopped going to school because my grandma told him that it would be better if you just started working. And he did, he would sell bread around his little town. It’s not a coincidence that he now works in a baking factory my mom also dropped out from school to work also. So they never learned English. Luckily for them that they came to a place where there was a lot of immigrants that spoke Spanish only so it wasn’t hard for them to communicate with them. My mom told me that of course she missed Mexico. She told me that the only reason she left was because she knew that raising a family in the United States would be a lot better and easier. She told me that the most she missed was her parents and brothers and sisters. She missed them the most and she didn’t even get the chance to see her mom and dad one more time because they both died not so long ago. She wanted to see them so bad but she knew that if she left back to Mexico, she would not have the chance to return to the U.S. Sadly that’s how it is for most Immigrants that live in this country, they know that if they leave, they cannot return back to their home country. I just can’t imagine how my mom felt when this happened to her. She also misses her “rancho”. She misses riding the horses that my grandparents had. My dad also misses Mexico but he said that they made the right choice to come here because this is the best country to live in the whole
