When I was ten years old my family decided that we leave to California. That California was where there was money at least that was what everyone says. In Mexico there wasn't enough money. My family was really poor that they didn't have enough money to feed me and my brother. Julion my brother was tired of living this life he always complained because he wanted to have things other boys did. "Evelyn can you come here and help me sell these tamales?" Sandra anxiously asked. "Of course I will help you mama" I happily answered her. My mom was selling the tamales so that we can save up money to go to California. There was also a bunch people crowded in the back. They didn't even talked to us they just nodded at us. We stayed in the car for a couple of hours. No one talked we just heard of babies crying. I was really scared because I didn't know how long this was going to take and my brother was staring to get sick. My brother kept coughing and wouldn't stop.I have heard a lot bad things of California that the people there treat them bad. That for Mexican it was hard for them to get a job. Hours later the truck all the sudden stopped we all looked at each other and got really worried. The coyote came and opened the door. "Get out this is how far I am going to you" coyote yelled. "You told us that you were going to us all the way to California " a woman complained. "I'm really sorry I can't take you" coyote said. "If you can't take us then give us our money back" my dad urged. Everyone started to yell at the coyote. The coyote didn't say anything he just stared to walk slowly to his truck.
