Bury Your Left Overs
On a cold misty morning, I slept every so soundly, until the sound of my favorite song blasted next to my bedside. I groaned in agony asking myself ‘why am I awake this early? It’s 4:00 a.m.’ While trying to keep my eyes open, I stumbled down the hall to the bathroom, combed my hair, brushed my teeth, grabbed anything in sight I could not possibly live without, just to crawl back into a car to continue sleeping. Courtney gathered movies to bring along, to avoid listening to Jerry crack the same jokes he has told since Courtney and I were in the 5th grade. Three hours into the trip, Tammy yelled, “look girls there are buffalo in that field!”
Jerry replied with a smirk “those aren’t buffalo Tammy, they are just hay bales.”
“You’re losing your mind Jerry those are to buffalo!” she screamed this argument went on for a while I simply put my headphones back in my ears …show more content…

“Yeah,” She gasped. We could hear something moving around outside coming closer and closer to our side of the cabin. We sprinted into the parents’ bedroom and started banging on the door.
“It’s just the raccoons,” Tammy yelled, as she opened the door this terrifying, deathly growl came from the north side of the cabin where our bedrooms were. It awoke everyone except Jerry that man could sleep through a hurricane if given the chance. We screamed at him to go outside and see what it was. Being half-asleep, Jerry just groaned and told us all to go to bed; it is just the raccoons digging through the trash, he has left from dinner.
As he walked out the door with a bat we heard a loud bang and a shriek, he quickly ran back inside
No one goes outside! There is a bear! I’ll call the park patrol!” he screamed. We all went back into the bedrooms to try to sleep away the excitement. It became very hard to we could see the flashing lights hit our window, men yelling, trying to tase the bear, trying as hard as they could to get the bear out
