In the book the first few chapters talk about the way his life changed. There are many ways to dehumanize in just chapter one. First they were moved into 2 different ghettos. One big ghetto and small ghetto and they also stay with their uncle. When they got moved to the small ghetto it was very hot and some kids were crying.

Through the stages Dehumanization, the gruesome act of stripping one of their positive human qualities or traits. This process happens more than most people realize; it's especially common in any abusive atmosphere. However it is very common for many of the humans that have experienced the act of dehumanization to not even realize it has even happened to them. Alternatively those who do realize notice there are usually stages that one goes through during this time being naivety, survival, and finally acceptance. Human nature displays the repercussions of inevitable fate, psychological manipulation and uniformity in both dystopian novels. Human nature are general views that are colored by the influences of people an individual is surrounded by. In Never Let Me Go and 1984, fate is inevitable.
