I missed over 3000 shots in my career, I've been trusted to make the game winning shot over 26 time and missed, and that is why I succeed. These are the words Michael Jordan lived his life by. But Michael Jordan is not what makes basketball popular, what makes basketball popular is all the players, the position they play and the excitement of the finals, NBA championship.
In the NBA there are many players that are very popular for how well they play the game but there are also some players who will never be forgotten, they stand out to the fans and have made the game more interesting. Some key players like Kyrie Irving he has made the game fun to watch because of all of his nasty crossovers, his layups and the way he handles the ball. He demonstrates sportsmanship and love and passion for the game. Then there is Michael Jordan, proven to be the best basketball player to ever live. Every year of basketball in the NBA is a battle to make it in the finals. Teams work as hard as they can and train everyday. But did you know in the finals you don't just play one game like the Superbowl it's more like hockey they play seven games and whatever team wins more games out of the seven they win the finals. The two teams almost always go to the seventh game in the Finals. Competition can get really fierce to a point where the teams start fighting and fouling each other.
