In conclusion, without failure and staying enthusiastic when we fail, there would be no success. Therefore, I agree with Winston Churchill that failure is a key part of success. If you keep your enthusiasm high even when you fail multiple times you will eventually have success.
The game of basketball is very physical and it was made knowing that you 're going to need to be athletic, be fast, and have a high vertical. Michael Jordan is an NBA player who is questionably the greatest to play. “Michael Jordan stomps the yard when it comes to the highest vertical leap in NBA history”. He is 6’6 and has a stifling vertical over other players, that 's why he 's one of the most dominant players because of the athletic ability he is given. Most players from college basketball are even drafted to the NBA
“If a man could have half his wishes, he would double his troubles.” This quote by Benjamin Franklin in Poor Richard’s Almanac explains how a person’s drive to achieve a particular goal can narrow one’s perspective, and encourage the fantasy that success is an endeavor that will solve all life’s difficulties. Failure is what happens when one doesn't know all the elements to make a situation work. After finding the situation a failure, the next step is to see what went wrong and make note of it. More times than not, people experience the same situation in where they are given a second opportunity to prevent their mistakes that they made before. The Boy Scouts Lewis and Clark Council has an annual Campout called Silver Creek Round-Up. Every year Troops from around western St. Clair County area gather to spend two days competing in games created by the troops and helping younger scouts learn the essential skills to become an Eagle Scout.
What is a failure? Most believe that it occurs when someone does not succeed in something. However, This mindset is wrong. I believe just like a human needs the heart to live, failure is needed for someone to succeed and the other way around. I learned to hold the vision and trust the process by facing many failures on the way of pursuing my goals as a basketball player. Intro: All began when I set myself the goal to defeat fear. These people see failure as a synonym for shame, dishonor, and worthlessness. However, people do not need to fear failure because in reality, it brings about the drive and motivation to do better. If everybody knew this, nobody would fear failure, but rather, embrace it.
